Notice of Final Agency Action Taken by the Northwest Florida Water Management District

 

Notice is given that Environmental Resource permit number IND-033-17388-1 was issued on January 11, 2017 to Fred Hemmer Clearwater 104 LLC for the construction of a new surface water management system Designed to provide treatment and attenuation for a 36.9 acre development located at 7945 Beulah Road in Pensacola, (Escambia County). The development will consist of the construction of a single-family residential subdivision with three roadways, sidewalks, and two driveway connections to Beulah Road. The surface water management system will consist of two hydraulically separate ponds that will both discharge toward the existing surface water located within the northwestern corner of the project site. The pond located within the center of the project site has been designed as a dry detention with filtration (bottom sand filter) pond which will provide treatment and attenuation, prior to discharging toward the northwest to the existing, delineated wetlands located along the southern side of the existing surface water. The southwestern pond has been designed as a dry retention pond that will provide treatment and attenuation, prior to discharging toward the northwestern corner of the site which consists of delineated wetlands located along the western boundary of the project site. The proposed project will result in approximately 0.66 acres of wetland and other surface water impacts onsite. The project is located at 7945 Beulah Road, Escambia County.
