Born in Jackson, Mississippi as a kid he and the Peters family had their vacations along the shores of Pensacola beach and it's always had a special place in his heart. Justin's mother Jackie was born there and his dad Ben Peters was a Navy Pilot once based there. His Uncle Robert Macon owns the restaurant "Slips" in Pensacola which is a favorite local hangout for many so he has strong historical and emotional ties to that beach. He has also written several songs for the Blue Angels over the years. Sung by Justin Peters, the song " Pensacola Beach" was cowritten and coproduced by Justin Peters and David L. Huff. The song is also available as a ringtone on iTunes.
