Teens that are attending will learn how to develop their own artistic abilities through a variety of activities.

The teens will learn about the art of glass blowing in a class held at the First City Art Center as well as have hands on experience in a clay sculpting class. Every teen will also receive a digital camera to keep and will have a photography lesson during the camp. The PMA will be hosting a tour of the museum for the teens after their photography lesson to look at work of professional photographers. Each teen will submit on of their pieces of artwork from the week for the Art Camp Talent Show. The teens will then have a chance to have their artwork be displayed at the PMA during Gallery Night. The teens will experience other art activities including sand art, macramé, painting, wood making, sewing, and dancing.

Besides exploring their artistic side, the teens will get a taste of college life while staying in dorms at the University of West Florida, where some of their classes will be held, and have all their meals provided to them. Teens will also enjoy a tour at the T.T. Wentworth Museum to learn about the history of Pensacola, a beach trip and a movie night during the camp.

The PMA and FFN will encourage the teens attending camp to have fun and explore their artistic side. It will be an unforgettable experience!
