A voter that fails to respond may also have their name removed from the Florida Voter Registration System. PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Escambia County, Florida is issuing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to solicit applications for programs that address the strategies outlined in the Escambia County’s 2024 Opioid Abatement Implementation Plan. A pre-solicitation meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at 9am via Teams and at the Matt Langley Bell, III building 213 Palafox Place, 2nd floor, Pensacola, FL 32502. Attendance is not mandatory.
Specifications may be obtained by reviewing the “2024 Escambia County Opioid Abatement Funding NOFA_ Approved 5.20.24” document on the Escambia County Opioid Abatement Funding Advisory Board site at https://myescambia.com/open-government/boards-committees/opioid-abatement-funding-advisory-board. For applications to be considered, they must: meet all the applicant eligibility, be an eligible activity, meet all Federal and State requirements, participate in our Homeless Continuum of Care and Behavioral health systems, meet the minimum requirements, and must submit application by the stated deadline. Any application that does not meet the above requirements will not be considered. Escambia County reserves the right to reject any or all applications.
Applications will be accepted beginning 06-13-2024. The FINAL day applications will be accepted is 09-13-2024. Any application received after this date will not be considered. will consist of the installation of 12-inch and 16-inch reclaimed water main from ECUA Pensacola Beach Treatment Plant to the eastern end of Casino Beach parking lot. The project includes open cutting Via De Luna Drive.

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, re-advertise a project, in whole or in part; and to accept a bid that in its judgment is the lowest and best bid of a responsible bidder. In accepting a bid, ECUA may award a contract based only on the base bid, the base bid plus all alternates, or the base bid plus any alternates which ECUA selects with all decisions being made based upon what ECUA believes to be the best interests of its ratepayers, in the reasonable exercise of its discretion.
