This proposed project, including any amendments, becomes the final Proposed Project when approved by the Board of County Commissioners after receiving comments at the scheduled public hearing. Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) provides fixed route transportation throughout the Pensacola Urban Area. Escambia County is the Community Transportation Coordinator. Escambia County offers reduced fares for elderly and citizens with disabilities on the fixed route service at all times. No persons, families or businesses will be displaced by this project. The proposed project will not have a significant environmental impact upon the urban service area.
At the hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the program of projects, and for the use of federal funds apportioned to Escambia County. Interested persons may submit, orally or in writing, evidence and/or recommendations with respect to the program.
