AN ORDINANCE OF ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING PART III OF THE ESCAMBIA COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES, THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED; AMENDING CHAPTER 3, SECTION 3-3.8 “WARRINGTON OVERLAY (WARR-OL)” TO AMEND THE APPLICATION OF SEPARATION OF SAME USES WITHIN THE DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

An error notice was made to hear the ordinance on May 4, 2023, at 5:49 p.m. The ordinance was adopted at the April 20, 2023, meeting. No other meetings will be held regarding the above stated ordinance.

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, re-advertise a project, in whole or in part; and to accept a bid that in its judgment is the lowest and best bid of a responsible bidder. Notice of Final Agency Action Taken
by the Northwest Florida Water
Management District

 

Notice is given that Environmental Resource permit number IND-033-292613-1 was issued on November 09, 2020 to William Bryan Adams
Esplanade Communities of Florida LLC for the construction of a new surface water management system designed to serve a new 30.83-acre development located along the eastern side of Highway 29, just north of the intersection with Pinoak Lane, approximately 0.85 miles south/southeast of Quintette Road, in Cantonment, (Escambia County). The new development will consist of a single-family residential subdivision with associated roadways, cul- de-sac, driveway connection to Highway 29, and a driveway connection to Pinoak Lane. The surface water management system will consist of the construction, operation, and maintenance of two, hydraulically separate wet detention ponds (Pond #1 and Pond #2) to be installed along the southern portion of the project site. Pond #1 and Pond #2 have been designed without vegetated littoral zones and will consist of 50 percent more permanent pool volume. Pond #1 and Pond #2 have been designed with discharge structures to be constructed along the perimeters of each pond, adjacent to the existing surface waters / lakes located along the southern boundary of the property. The discharge structure for Pond #1 consists of a 6.00-foot concrete standpipe equipped with 6.00-inch PVC pipe fitted with a cap with a 2.50-inch orifice drilled into the cap set at an invert elevation of 81.75 feet. This structure will also consist of a 2.00-foot wide rectangular weir set at an invert elevation of 84.50 feet. This structure will discharge through a bubble-up structure to be constructed along the northern portion of one of the lakes along the southern boundary. The discharge structure for Pond #2 consists of a 6.00- foot concrete standpipe equipped with 6.00-inch PVC pipe fitted with a cap with a 1.75-inch orifice drilled into the cap set at an invert elevation of 76.75 feet. This structure will also consist of a 1.00-foot wide rectangular weir set at an invert elevation of 75.25 feet. This structure will discharge through a bubble-up structure to be constructed along the eastern portion of the same lake along the southern boundary. There is approximately 0.37 acres of the project site that has been proposed to be directed toward vegetated natural buffers. There is also approximately 2.28 acres of the project site that cannot be feasibly routed toward one of the proposed systems and therefore will be compensated as overtreatment within the ponds. This project does not include impacts to wetlands or other surface waters. The project is located at Located on the east side of Highway 29, just north of the intersection with Pinoak Lane, approximately 0.85 miles southeast of Quintette Road, Escambia County.
