NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the Board of County Commissioners of Escambia County, Florida to hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 5:46 p.m. in the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, Board Meeting Room, First Floor, 221 Palafox Place, Pensacola, Florida, to consider the following:

 

AN ORDINANCE OF ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING PART III OF THE ESCAMBIA COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES, THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED; AMENDING CHAPTER 1, “ADMINISTRATION”, ARTICLE 1, “GENERAL PROVISIONS”, SECTION 1-1.14(a), “CONFLICTS WITH LDC PROVISIONS” TO REFINE SETBACK REQUIREMENTS; AMENDING CHAPTER 4, “LOCATION AND USE REGULATIONS”, ARTICLE 7, “SUPPLEMENTAL USE REGULATIONS”, TO CREATE SECTION 4-7.13(9), “AMENITIES”; AMENDING CHAPTER 4, LOCATION AND USE REGULATIONS, ARTICLE 7, SUPPLEMENTAL USE REGULATIONS, SECTION 4-7.14(12), “ZERO LOT LINE SUBDIVISIONS” TO REFER TO THE DESIGN STANDARDS MANUAL; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

All interested parties may appear at the public hearings and be heard regarding the proposed Ordinance. A draft of the proposed Ordinance is available for review at the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, 221 Palafox Place, First Floor, Deputy Clerk’s Office, Suite 110, Pensacola, FL 32502 and the Escambia County Development Services Department, 3363 West Park Place, Pensacola, FL 32505.

 

The Planning Board and the Board of County Commissioners do not make verbatim transcripts of their meetings; any person who wishes to appeal (to Circuit Court) any matter considered at such meetings or hearing will need to independently ensure preparation of a verbatim transcript of the proceeding that includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal will be based.
